David Piper qualified from the University of Plymouth as a State Registered Podiatrist with a Bachelor of Science degree in Podiatry. He has worked for Scholl in Gloucester and for three years with the NHS in Chard and Ilminster, Somerset. David established his private practice in Exeter in 1998. David provides expert podiatry care including cosmetic enhancement of thickened, damaged and fungal nails, biomechanical assessments and gait analysis with the prescription of orthotics to help manage mechanical abnormalities, management of ingrown toenails including the use of nail surgery under local anaesthetic and verrucae treatments.
The needs of patients with disease processes including diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis are catered for.
David is the chairman for the Devon branch of The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists for 2013 - 2015; having previously held the position of Branch Secretary. David is a keen athlete who has represented Great Britain, competing at European level in 2012, paddling in his chosen water sport of Dragon Boating and has been selected to represent Great Britain in Canada at the 2015 Dragon Boat World Championships. This level of commitment and dedication is something that he carries forward into his daily and work life with his unrelenting pursuit of excellence.
David brings 20 years of experience to the clinic which is located at 1 Silver Terrace, Richmond Road, Exeter.
To help with parking, the clinic is located immediately next door to a car park and free roadside parking is available opposite our entrance. Further roadside parking is also available in the area of St. David's Hill, Queens Terrace and Bystock Terrace.
With fully lit street level entry and a modern stair lift to assist the less mobile, we feel that our premises provide greater patient access.
The fully refurbished, newly equipped waiting and clinical rooms offer comfortable seating, reading material and complimentary refreshments.
Late night opening is now available on Mondays until 7pm.
Home visits are available for patients with significant mobility issues who are unable to attend the clinic. An additional charge applies to cover the extra time/traveling costs. Please call 01392 348151 if you would like to arrange a home visit.
